Did you know that in 2008 the world shifted from being predominantly rural to mainly urban? This means that there are now more people living in cities than people living in the country. Some estimate that there are at least 10,000 cities around the planet and many of them did not exist 100 years ago.

This printable game is to help bring together students and children to share what they know about cities around the world.

Learn about urbanisation trends and growth of cities.
Take stock of the various cities around the world they are familiar with. Ideally, it will also help to expand their knowledge by discussing their answers with their friends.
