March invites us outdoors. In this month’s issue, we’re exploring wildlife and conservation through low-prep printable activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity in the elementary classroom. From designing animal habitats and exploring endangered species to imagining young wildlife reseachers in action, these ready-to-use printables help students connect learning with real-world environmental stewardship.

Whether you have 15 minutes for a creative warm-up or a full lesson block to explore deeper, you’ll find meaningful ways to nurture empathy for the natural world while building research, writing and artistic confidence.
