We have a two roosters, an ox, a snake and a rat in our family. Some of you may think... do you guys live on an animal reserve? A nice little farm perhaps? Nope! These are the animals zodiac signs of all the members of my family based on the Chinese lunar calendar.

Originating from China, the Chinese zodiac and variations of it remain very popular in East Asian and South East Asian countries. If you take a walk down to Chinatown across the world during the lunar new year, you'll almost definitely see all sorts of posters and decorations adorned with the different animals of the Chinese zodiac.

This fun printable worksheet set is a fun way to introduce this ancient cultural practice which spans back at least 2000 years.
