Just over a hundred years ago, there were 100,000 tigers roaming across all of Asia. Today less than 6000 survive in the wild. The biggest threats to these majestic big cats are habitat destruction and poaching. The natural habitat of tigers have shrunk by more than 90% over the past century leading to increasing unwanted contact with humans and their livestock. Sadly, the illegal trade in tiger parts is also still very much alive today and have contributed significantly to the dwindling numbers of wild tigers around Asia.

This printable worksheet pack encourages your child or student to create more awareness about tigers and what we can do to help them from the brink of extinction.
