Grandparents Day is celebrated all around the world. For the US, it falls on the Sunday after Labour Day every year. It's a holiday to celebrate not just your parents' parents but also elderly members of the community. Likewise, it's also an opportunity for grandparents to show their love for their children's children. Different families have their own unique and meaning way of celebrating this holiday, even if grandparents are living far away.
This creative printable activity helps to encourage our kids to think about their grandparents and the importance of having them in their lives (and how to express that gratitude).

Classroom Resources
Simple steps to start:
Watch home videos or flip through photo albums of your child's grandparents with your children. Give them more context and tell them stories to help your children gain a better understanding of who their grandparents are/were.
If possible, make a visit to your child's grandparents house and get your child to sit down and ask their grandparents about their lives, their work, their community and their old friends.
