Design Reusable Bags

Did you know that International Plastic Bag Free Day is celebrated on the 3rd of July every year? Its purpose is to bring more awareness of the negative impact single use plastic bags have on the environment and wildlife.

We want to take this opportunity to also encourage students and children to cut down the use of single use plastics. This printable activity is aimed at challenging them to contribute creatively to bring more awareness to this cause.

Printable & Activity Objectives

In this activity, your child will reflect about their usage of single use plastic bags in their daily lives. They will also be creating four different designs for reusable bags.

It will help your child or student:

• Develop a stronger and clearer sense of purpose and resolve for protecting the planet's environment.
• Move away from the feeling of entitlement and work towards being a more participatory global citizen.
