The Jeepney is a highly popular form of public transport in the Philippines. Not only are they efficient people movers, they are also emblematic of Filipino street culture and art. These versatile and colourful "mini busses" started off by the ingenuity of local Filipinos who repurposed old U.S. military jeeps which were left behind after the American occupation of the Philippines.

This creative design challenge is an activity to explore the wonderful and unique artwork found only on Jeepneys in the Philippines. Enjoy!
